A Moment When Life Was Given to an Unforgotten Character ❤️

On March 8, 2026, I went to Savoy Cinema with my boyfriend to watch the movie Wife. But since we arrived a little late, we couldn’t watch it. However, there was another movie starting in about half an hour, so we made a quick decision to watch Dharmayuddhaya 2, and we bought tickets for it.

As we watched the story, some

key scenes from Dharmayuddhaya were shown. The most special part was that the character originally played by the late and popular actor Jackson Anthony was continued in the second film by Bimal Jayakody. Using him, the scenes from the first movie were blended into the second in such a natural way that the audience could hardly notice the change.

As the story moved forward, it flowed like a normal storyline at first. But the ending was something I never expected. Many times when we thought the story was about to end, it suddenly changed direction and continued with another twist. Watching it unfold was truly surprising for us as viewers. When it seemed like the ending was near, we could feel that it was about to take a completely different turn and that feeling was indescribable. Honestly, it felt like a heart attack moment. 😄❤️‍🩹

Just as the character Sarathchandra says in the story, “The audience doesn’t like to see the hero go to prison.” In the end, the story concluded with exactly that kind of dramatic twist.

Even though we felt it would have been wonderful if Jackson Anthony had been there, Bimal Jayakody did justice to the character of Sarathchandra in his own unique way, without trying to imitate Jackson Anthony. That deserves respect.🫡❤️

It’s truly a beautiful story that you should definitely go and watch with your family.👩‍❤️‍👨
