My favorite life 🍃🛵

I’m someone who loves freedom especially mental freedom 🍃. I love walking freely near the hills and forests. Whenever I get a chance to feel free, I take my bike and just live in that moment. That freedom has the power to erase all my problems in an instant.


The cold breeze, the mist, the sunlight breaking through, the winding roads, the trees… standing on the hilltops and looking down at the beautiful valleys below that’s the life I love.


Because I’m a girl, I’ve faced some limitations in living this way, but the first time I truly experienced this life was here, in my mother’s village… Mavussawa 🍃.

After we came to campus, one of the best friends I met was Sanduni. She is honestly like an elder sister to me. She was born in 2002. Her father is no more, and she lives with her mother and sister. Sanduni’s home is in Panideniya, Kandy. She is a very simple and humble girl, and her voice is really beautiful. Her birthday was on March 26, but at that time we were on campus vacation, so we couldn’t celebrate it in the boarding place. About a month and a half later, the four of us from the boarding house got together and celebrated her birthday. She had really wanted a phone back cover, so I gave it to her as a gift. She was extremely happy. Seeing her happiness made me even happier. It became a very beautiful memory for me. I felt happy because I was able to give someone else a smile.
