Horse 🐴 + Zebra 🦓 = Zorse 🙂

A Zorse is the offspring of a Horse and a Zebra.

Zorses are extremely rare, with fewer than 100 believed to exist worldwide.

They are usually bred in captivity because horses and zebras do not naturally mate in the wild.

One main reason for their rarity is that most Zorses are infertile, meaning they cannot reproduce with each other.

This infertility happens because horses and zebras have different numbers of chromosomes.

As a result, Zorses are considered hybrids, similar to mules (which come from horses and donkeys).

Zorses often inherit the body shape of a horse but have distinctive zebra-like stripes on parts of their body.

They can also be more unpredictable in behavior, since zebras are generally more aggressive and harder to tame than horses.

Some people breed Zorses for research, work purposes, or simply for their unique appearance.

Even though they are fascinating animals, Zorses are not common and remain a rare example of cross-species hybridization.
